ITGAIN has signed a reseller agreement with the Canadian enterprise software company XKOTO Inc. ITGAIN will bundle the DB2 high availability solution GRIDSCALE together with its existing DB2 management software for the German, European and American markets. "With GRIDSCALE from XKOTO, DB2 is the technological leader for high availability applications. GRIDSCALE provides a true active/active solution without depending on resource sharing," explains Thomas Kalb, ITGAIN's Managing Director for DB2 consulting and product development. "GRIDSCALE is, therefore, significantly superior to existing solutions such as Oracle's RAC."
